New year, new blog...

Greetings horror fans. 2011 was a great year for the Necronomicast and both Dr. Death and I want to thank all our listeners for supporting the show. Last year was the start of our little show and by the end of it, the Necronomicast had interviewed quite a few horror celebrities, participated in the first Contagion convention, and helped organize the Omaha Zombie Walk.

Dr. Death had a good year himself as he was featured on an episode of The Dead Hour (as a zombie of course), was the subject of a video made by NET Public Television that documented his story, and was made the Nebraska state representative for the charity Scares That Care. Not a bad year for the good Doctor.

We have big plans for the podcast this year. Some plans we can't quite say at the moment, but we guarantee that our listeners will be quite pleased. Some of our goals of course are to keep growing as a show, gain new listeners, and expand our humble podcast through video, blogging, and events that will put us in front of more horror fanatics.

This blog will be used as a companion to the podcast. We want to have an interactive podcast that includes in studio guests as well as celebrity and industry guest interviews. We will always have a variety of topics to cover on the podcast, but the blog is a perfect place for us to keep you updated on events, post movie reviews, and get critical feedback from our listeners. We will be asking for written movie reviews, which we will post here for all to read. We feel it makes it easier for our audience to participate in a way that requires no audio to listen to.

So subscribe to the blog, keep checking back in, and send us your movie reviews and comments. Let's make the Necronomicast a great show that made by us, the horror fans.

Stay scary,

The Reverend
